Hamstra installed a new heat pump for me last year which recently developed a vibration. The technician diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. They are a very professional company, with excellent service. I highly recommend them.
They were excellent with their customer service and informative about their products. I was able to receive rebates (through Lennox and TEP) to upgrade to their best A/C unit. I would highly recommend them.

Hamstra installed new air conditioning units in our house, replacing existing evaporative coolers. The work was difficult because of the retrofit of new equipment into a confined space, changes to the duct work, and other construction that had to go along with the installation. We were very satisfied with the work. Very professional company. Our old system was over 20 yrs old and was costing a fortune to cool the house in the summer. Hamstra did a lot of measurements and tests of the house and system and recommended a Lennox system with an electrostatic filter. They told us in advance what would be happening and when it would be done, and the work went exactly as we were informed it would. WAY overpriced! I got quotes from 5 Tucson companies - all had A+ BBB ratings with no complaints, and no complaints with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. I got quotes for the exact same systems (same model #s) from each of them and Hamstra was 24% higher (more than $1700) than the next highest bid. The salesman spent more time telling me how great his company was and what “all” of their competitors would do wrong, than explaining the system(s) to me. What customer service should be! – In my opinion, you will not find a more educated and professional heating & cooling company than Hamstra. Jeff Hamstra did a complete engineering anaylsis of my home for all sorts of pressure, leak and other elements that would determine what type of new unit would work best in my home. Great Quality of Work and Professionalism! – What really makes Hamstra Heating and Cooling great is the quality of work they do. At 100 plus degrees their techs are delightful, professional, and quick. My home was confortable again after they got my system running in tip top shape!
