Great hotel in a convenient location. Staff is helpful, rooms are clean and nice, and breakfast is always a treat. Stayed there many times over the years.
Probably the worst property ever, perhaps this name must be taken of Hilton, genuinely. It's so bad, beyond discretion. I was so surprised with the people, the service, and the food. Wow. You can't get any worse than that. I have never ever rated a place this harsh, but it's truly bad. I would rather sleep if it was the only place in Birmingham. Bad, bad, bad
Do not get a room here. I got a notification on my phone stating my room was ready. Checked in and went upstairs to my room; sheets were off the bed, towels were all over the floor, and trash was piled everywhere. I went back downstairs and requested another room: that room was occupied. The manager then walked the hotel with me to find a hotel room that was clean and unoccupied. Took us seven (7) tries. This is totally unacceptable. Please make sure your hotel is clean and ready for guests.
Run don't walk from this hotel. The Alabama Thespians hosted a festival and used Hampton Inn as our conference hotel. They charged us triple the amount and have yet to rectify the issue. So essentially we paid $18,000 in charges that they stole from our bank account because they had a debit card. The service was horrible and the rooms were dirty as well.
This hotel is quite nasty. The rooms and common areas have a nearly unbearable odor. we tried a 2nd room but it was as stinky as the first. Friends traveling with us said their rooms were stinky too. Luckily only had to endure it for 1 very stinky, breathe-through-your-mouth night. This hotel is not clean.
