I had a terrible experience shopping for a used car for my daughter. Hamilton Honda uses unscrupulous business practices that you should be aware of. They advertise a low price on their vehicles to pull you in the door, and then pad the pricing with frivolous up charges that are pure profit for them. This includes a $1000 Document Fee which is the highest Ive ever encountered, and provides absolutely nothing for the buyer. I felt lied to, and believe that their business practices are underhanded. Bait and switch. I called three times to verify that a car was in stock but when I got there, they told me it was sold. They tried to upsell me another vehicle and it became a big waste of time because I told them upfront that there was no way we were going to get close to where I needed to be. On top of that the car they tried to upsell me had a bad transmission and as a former auto mechanic, I know how to diagnose those things. AVOID at all costs! I went to purchase certified *** and had a terrible experience. The salesman, is the very embodiment of sleezy car sales person. I asked for copies of every document that had my signature, including the preliminary rate sheets, he did not want to provide and ultimately did not. Only want to finance cars and not take cash because they get a kick back according the the sales rep. ** was very rude when I told him my name, saying "whatever" (eye roll). Like ok- sorry my name is not to your liking. Overall very horrible experience and would not recommend at all!!!!

I wouldn't recommend buying a used vehicle from Hamilton Honda or dealing with Lithia, the corporate office. Both are worth a zero rating. The 2016 ****** Juke I bought for my wife should have never been put on the lot until it was properly gone over. The only thing they want to do is sell cars. The customer service provided by the salesman and sales management team afterwards was the worst I ever experienced, I was in the customer service industry for over 43 years, and if these people worked for me, they would all be looki... read more

I bought my civic in 2019 from Hamilton Honda. Car runs fine but in 2023, my ac compressor and condenser failed. I refilled it and it seemed to be working fine for the rest of the summer, and then on a hot day in September, warm air. I did research and found that it was a major class action suit for this problem, and they extended the warranty. Went in to look at a certified vehicle.Found broken glass inside a door panel and when asked about it, the sales woman responded that "It's not on the CarFax and if you ever sold/traded; in no one would know.". I understand how CarFax reporting works, it's imperfect. This is still an unprofessional approach and poor methodology of representing a vehicle. BUYER BEWARE! I had an absolutely horrible car buying experience with these people. Just go somewhere else TRUST ME! They will tell you that you HAVE to purchase the *** insurance but dont listen to their lies. You dont HAVE to spend that $1,500, its just a cash grab for them.
