Disappointed, I purchased pig ears for my dog and within a day (I’m from NY) they were all molded, soft and mushy and have a rancid smell. The clerk was kind and nice. Star is for the clerk, place and presentation. I’d give this place another chance if I’m ever in Philly again.
I'm Excited about this Establishment. Everything I get from this place is fresh even the frozen burgers can't be beat🤗
The variety of meats is amazing. Everything is good. It's located inside of Reading Terminal. Today I picked up 'turkey hot sausage' and 'turkey breakfast sausage'. The prices are great. And the customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend Halteman Family Meats.
My husband and I drive 2 hours every few months to come to Reading Terminal Market just to stock up on several lbs of Halteman's maple breakfast sausages. It's that good. We come prepared with a cooler and easily meet the $10 minimum to get a discount on parking. These sausages even smell good when they're still raw.
