A GREAT Place to eat and meet Wonderful salads, excellent entries. The service has always been wonderful and often by people that have been there for years and years. They have outdoor eating area fir summer dining and also some conference rooms for parties. A really nice place to take someone, not noisy and very comfortable.
TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!! – The worst service ever... After our server gave us our drinks, we were COMPLETELY ignored by everyone working there for 35 minutes. NO ONE checked on us. The menu looked good, but we never had the chance to order anything. When we gave up and wanted to leave, someone had to track our server down, and she had to ask us where we had been sitting. We were not tucked away somewhere, and there were four of us. Terrible. And to make it worse, this was a late Father's Day treat for my Dad.
Not worth the money! – Dated decor, mediocre food, inattentive service and high prices. Food was cold and overcooked, the pasta tasted old, our waiter ignored us. Disappointing!
Fake Upscale – Overpriced and disappointing. I'm typically pretty easy-going about service, food, etc. but we spent $160 and basically left disappointed. My husband and I recently had dinner at Hall Street to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere is pretty intimate even with people all around you. Staff seemed tense, which was kind of weird. great food, friendly service – My husband and I rarely get to have a date night or a restaurant that doesn't have a play place for our kids. When we decided to go out tonight. I search almost endlessly for a nice steak house. We found one in the Hall Street Grill. We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation (highly recommended). Best Business Lunch – I am new to the Beaverton area. I was having lunch with a new client, and they reccomended Hall Street Grill. I was expecting it to be pub-like, but what we got was much more. The host at the front desk was accomodating to our need for a large table to spread work out on, even without reservations and what seemed to be a full restaurant, and our server was informative and very friendly. Great fries! – Late lunch on a Saturday afternoon was delightful in the quiet bar area. Wild salmon burger and fish and chips were freshly done. They substituted side dishes readily. Appreciate the effort to buy local products. French fries were superb! Only negative is the carmelized onion butter. It's too sweet and is off-putting with the olive artisan bread. We'll go back when the weather's better to dine outside.
What a place – It was my husband?s birthday and he wanted a special treat. Hall Street Grill was the answer. It was our first visit. We read the reviews on City search and figured we will give it a shot. Great food and service. We started with a drink in the bar and finished the evening with Donna (our server). Consistently excellent food --sometimes inconsistent service – I have been going to Hall Street for as long as it has been in existence, which I think is over 20 years!! I can honestly say that I've NEVER had a bad meal there. On occassion, the service has been rather slow, but usually is commensurate with how busy they are---if you go on a wk. end , or Friday night , you are going to wait--even with reservations (which I would ALWAYS recommend here.
