Love the cinnamon rolls
I had lunch soup and sandwich large helping of both and the flavor was great. Red pepper soup and sandwich with home made pesto
I have been here multiple times and with each time that i was dissatisfied with the service- i thought ‘maybe tonight is an off night’ but unfortunately, the only consistency at this place is VERY SLOW SERVICE and lack of knowledge about menu items for the staff.
It’s like they try hard to be slow, dirty, and uniformed about their own menu items. I have now come here a dozen times hoping that it would improve but I’ve had it. Almost every person in here right now has had some kind of major problem with their orders and like usual the dishes are dirty and they don’t even know which wine is a Merlot or a Malbec.

I've only had great food and service at Hall Street Bakery. We almost always order pizza, which is delicious and hot from the wood fired oven. Sometimes we pick up a bag of day-old baked goods, still fresh-tasting and delicious, for 50% off, which makes a great "souvenir" to take home. I only wish it were in Alger Heights, so we could walk there.
I have a friend who has some major food allergies and I was VERY impressed with staff in their knowledge of the items and ingredients. I was able to get two amazing treats that met all allergy requirements. My friend said both treats were AMAZING!
