The staff at the Halifax Sexual Health Centre are incredibly kind and understanding, especially with things like refills, blood work, and supporting gender transitions. Even though they're sometimes overbooked because it's so hard to find care in this province, they really go above and beyond to be helpful.

I called 450 times, before 12pm trying to get an appointment on the only day that they allow new patients to book an appointment, the few times that it actually rang no one answered. If you're going to have only one day where new patients are allowed to book an appointment either get more people to awnser a phone, online booking, or have a system that holds for the next available person to book an appointment.

You need to call them to book an appointment but they NEVER answer the phone. It often takes 10+ calls in the same day just to get someone to pick up. If you actually get an appointment it's great, but good luck trying to book one

They told me to call at the last Monday of the month, so I did. They opened at 9, so I called at 9:03 and they weren’t open so I tried again at 9:05 and it said “User busy” (probably on call with someone else). In the spam of 9:05 to 9:30 I called a total of 73 times to which it all said User busy. On the 74th time it has the nerve to tell me that the clinic is fully booked. I called 74 times and you pick up someone’s else call over me?
