Today was my first time visiting Halifax Seed. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman with a moustache and bandana scarf who answered all of our questions about lady bugs & even made sure we were doing ok while we were browsing outside. I was impressed with the variety of plants offered, and managed to snag a much-desired bridal wreath spirea. An amazing selection and some good finds compared to other places around the city. They actually take care of the plants too, so they aren't all dying and looking sad this time of year! The staff I've spoken to here have been helpful as well. I will probably be back before the season ends.
