I had an MRI done at the Infirmary before my liver resection. The previous MRI I had at a different hospital gave me claustrophobia. I was anticipating the worst when I went to the Infirmary. To my surprise, they had a newer machine which seemed more ‘open’ and there were bright pictures on the ceiling. It gave me a feeling of being at a spa!!!! The MRI was no problem and I had zero claustrophobia.
