I was referred to Halifax Endodontics and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience from start to finish. When I arrived for my original appointment, I was told my appointment had been given to someone else because the clinic had not received my confirmation. I showed them my confirmation, at which point they apologized and acknowledged that this had happened before due to what they described as a system glitch. Poor interaction with this facility. Appreciate that the dentist is out sick, but I was informed that due to them being off for a day, I am being rescheduled for four months from now. Alternatively, if something happens to open up, I may be able to be slotted in. Given that there was already a wait to see this dentist, waiting another four months or a random amount of time for an appointment for a tooth that needs an imminent fix, is not doable. I am writing this review to hopefully help someone like me. I was referred to Halifax Endodontics for a root canal. I get anxious about going for dental work. So if you are here reading reviews for the same reason, here is mine. All of the staff at Halifax Endodontics was lovely. From the receptionist to the assistant to Dr. Belliveau, they were cheerful, friendly and professional. Staff was exceptional and my root canal was fast and painless- much like getting a filling. Highly recommend this office.
Would not recommend for any patient who has anxiety or any kind of dental phobia. No compassion or empathy at all. Very down to business with zero regard for how the patient is feeling.
