this is the worst salon ever!!! they have a great skill to damage your hair. they melt my pretty hair and never apologize! the worst hair cut , color and staff and of course the owner too. i mean total worst package. they even lie that they will fix it one week later which they were never going to. they said 'go to another salon'. i dont even want to give them one star. if you love your hair, dont even think to go there.
DISHONEST I called to make an appointment with my stylist Miss Rita whom I've been going to for a long time. To my surprise I was told she no longer was doing hair and that she had made a career change...Which I found very hard to believe!!!!!!! Anonymous...redundant!!! The latest posted Anonymous "worth it" has the exact same comment word for word on the yahoo reviews of this salon... The employees are told what to charge. They compete amongst each other for the top spot on the booking list. The booking used to be based on tenure and then switched to how much money an employ brough in the prior pay period. Alright I have been here a few times and the atmosphere feels like you should dress up to get your hair done. The staff are okay if you like stiffness and do not want to engage into conversation. It is a real pain to make an appointment because you have to give them a credit card to reserve your time and if you are unable to make it they will charge you. The stylist I had was alright, seemed a little fake and the reception staff are just there. It is not a place you feel comfy in just a place of business.
Manicure and pedicure, yes, hair, no way!! I've gone to Hairtage several times for the pedicure package. They have these great heated massage chairs that massage your upper body and the manicurist massages your feet and legs. It's very nice. Expensive, but a nice splurge every once in a while. I've been very happy with the manicurists each time.
Definitely worth the price! LOVE hairtage! New to the area, I decided to shout out the few extra bucks for the quality service I was promised. I was definitely not let down. They really strive to ensure you're taken care of. Where else in Jacksonville are you served something to drink while you wait? Yes, it may seem irrelevant or minimal, but it's the attention to detail that makes this business shine. love it I have been coming here for about a year i love my stylist andrea and i have also done the day package and all of it was the most relaxing thing i have ever done the massage the facial the lunch they provided was sooo good ! i ahve nothing but glowing things to say i have seen none of the bad comments made on here
ANONOYMOUS I went to the spa before Christmas. the massage was wonderful, but I feel they need to redo their front help...I felt I was in a teenage shop, and when I got to the counter, they didn't even bother to look up at me...or say I'll be with you in moment...When you spend this kind of money on a package deal, you expect the best treatment in all areas, not only just the massage (Joanna was great)..
AWESOME My best friend came from Illinois for a "GIRLFRIEND's" Weekend. We had a massage, facial, manicure and pedicure.. It was FANTASTIC!!!. We were pampered and felt like QUEENS.. I can't wait till our GIRLFRIEND's Weekend next year!!!! Thanks Hairtage for helping me show her a GREAT time!!!
