Nice Do Dad!! – That is the line I got when my kids saw my haircut. I am an active Dad who likes to keep his hair short and easy to manage. Ernest has been an excellent find. Hairapy PDX rocks! – I was drawn to try Hairapy PDX when I read a posting about Ernest's use of ammonia free hair color and perm line. I had been considering coloring my hair for several years but did not want to risk damaging my hair with exposure to ammonia. Ernest put me at ease by patiently explaining the product line - he knows his stuff! I love the beautiful shiny hair color and the hair cut as well. Ernest is gifted and passionate about the services he provides. I'm so glad I found him!
I love, love, love Hairapy PDX! – I gave Ernest a try about a year ago because I wanted to try someone new, close to home and for a little less money. A stylist really interested in how good I can look! – It is a real challenge to style and color someone's hair that is totally white. Ernest did a remarkable and gratifying job on my hair. I loved the color, texture and cut he gave me. I had his personal service for over 10 years in the San Diego area until he moved to Oregon. Now when he comes on a visit, I set everything aside and get to have the most welcome treatment all over again.
the only person I let cut my hair for a long long time – i have been getting my hair cut and colored by ernest for a long time now and dont go to anyone else. he cuts my hair the way I want and I love the ammonia free color line that he uses. Finally, personal service – After almost 4 years of looking I have found someone who listens to what I want, knows what will be best for me and has the ability to execute it properly. Wonderful Salon! – It's truly hard to find a wonderful person also who understands the complexities of hair! I heard about Ernest, owner of HairapyPDX through a friend. I had had my hair done at another salon and the Keratin treatment they used took three days to process and turned my hair yellow! I made an appt for the Brazilian Gloss treatment with Ernest and loved it! The salon is personal and relaxed, (pardon the pun) without the uptight attitude! 'll be coming back soon Ernest!
Best haircutter I've encountered in Portland – Ernest has a way with hair and is extremely personable. As a client for many years I can say that everyone I've seen emerge from a session with him has a nice glow. He is very thoroughly engaged in the products he uses and knowledgeable as well. I've been very pleased to recommend Ernest to many of my friends and they are all as happy with him as I am.5 stars!
