I bought a Living Social Voucher for a mani/pedi because I'm pregnant, due in one week, and can't reach my toes. When I followed the link to book the appointment, the mani/pedi option was not available. I made my booking anyway, on Thursday, despite the voucher saying "available Friday" because there was only one weekend morning appointment left. HairapyPDX has great services and wonderful products. I feel so comfortable having my children in the salon with organic products. Earnest is fun and personable and does a fabulous job with my hair and my whole family.
After living in Portland for over 7 years and bouncing from hairdresser to hairdresser, I happened up on this little gem not a mile from my house. I had been getting the same haircut for years and was ready for something new. Ernest was very open to my thoughts, and gave me his opinion on what kind of cut would look good with the shape of my face. The experience was wonderful, and I haven't gone anywhere since! The cuts, color, and conversation have always been top-notch!

You've got to try the organic hair color! – I just LOVE the organic hair color & shampoos and Ernest does such a great job! He knows his stuff! I was getting sick every time I had my hair colored - the next day was always spent in bed recovering. I thought it was time to give up the color....but then I tried Ernest and his Organic Color System. It's WONDERFUL! The color is more natural and there are no harmful chemicals to make me sick. Whatever you do, skip this experience – I had an awful experience with Ernest. I did buy his expensive Groupon and he was incredibly unprofessional and tried to shame me into buying the additional products. His "deal" clearly said that his treatment would last many weeks (no mention of spending even more money). WASTE OF MONEY! – Ernest was very nice during the treatment, and my hair looked great at the end of the treatment. When I went to check out he started putting product up on the counter and told me that for my treatment to last 3-4 months that I would HAVE to buy the product! YIKES $185.90! On the KeraGreen website, it says it WILL last 3-4 months on chemically treated hair, which mine is.Ernest's Groupon says that product is not included in the treatment.
