Poor Service and Hair Skills – I have been searching for a salon in San Antonio as I have just moved here. I read reviews on citysearch to find a great salon that everyone was buzzing about. I have been going to see Jen for several years at Hair Studio Sonterra. I am currently getting extentions and color. Jen has always been accommodating to my specific needs and personality while at the same time giving her own input. Her professionalism, technique, and personality cannot be matched. I would confidently recommend her to anyone, whether it be for simple hair cut/style or for a dramatic change.

Hair Studio Sonterra – I have been going to Hair Studio of Sonterra now for a couple of months. My services is always outstanding, I think the prices are reasonable compared to other salons in the area. After all if you want quality, you should pay for it. It is what sets one studio apart from another. I currently get eyelash extensions at the salon, and Elsa is awesome. My amazing hair extensions... – My extensions were done by Shelli, and all I can say is that I'm a true fan! I've had hair extensions and highlights previously done, and I was always left feeling "is this the way they're supposed to look?" And when you pay good money, for such a time consuming service, that's definitely not how you want to feel!!!! Successful Reunion! – My 20-year high school reunion was coming up and had not had my hair cut or colored professionally in over six months. When I called for an appointment I explained that in the past I have had bad experiences with stylists who were a bit scissor happy and who did not listen to or do what I had asked they do with my hair. Color me thrilled! – I have been a client of the Studio for a number of years. During that time I tried a few other salons in the area and everytime I come back to the Hair Studio. The staff has always been friendly and accomodating, and the stylists know their color. Over time I have had the pleasure of having Yvonne, Melissa and recently Lisa do my color and highlights. Everytime it has turned out exceptional. The price is upper end, but so is the quality of service and results.

worst eylash extensions EVER – Based on their reviews ( which had to have been placed by their own staff ! ), I went to have eyelash extensions placed. I had them in the past, so I know what to expect. They were Horrible. First off, they started falling out within 24 hours, with my own eyelashes, leaving holes on my bottom lash line. The Rock Hard Best – I have been to several hairdressers. This Hair Sonterra worked with me individually. I have left salons with green blond hair and with orange roots. Now I am Beautiful and Blonde. They spent 3 hours, but I got what I wanted. Time and Time. They gave me direction for my hair and wanted to know me. I will be Back. Whatever their shampoo is it smells good too!

Bad Business Practice – I would never go to this place again, not because the product wasn't good, but because when there was a major problem two days after my visit----they were unwilling to do anything to resolve the issue. I went on Sat, April 2nd to have feather extensions put in my daughter and my hair. I was a bit concerned with the placement of the feathers in my hair, so I called and spoke with the owner.
