Great for guys too! – Seiko is a great stylist and is a very interesting person so we have good conversations while she cuts my hair instead of the usual boring conversations about weather and work that I get from others. I always feel refreshed after she cuts my hair.

Would come back – Heard about Kuwayama just last week and gave it a try this past Monday. Hiromi was pretty cool - she did great cleaning up my layer. i would definitely recommend this salon to others.
The only haircuts I'll ever get – Hair Kuwayama is the best place I've ever found for haircuts. For years I'd been trying one place after the next from low budget to $100+ stylists and never found the skill and comfort that I have at Kuwayama. My stylist for the past 6 months has just left for Japan and though I've never had anyone else cut my hair there, I'd rather try someone new then leave the salon all together. Everyone is so friendly and accomadating and I could never ask for more.
Best price, Best place – Hiromi at Hair Kuwayama is the best. She really knows how to give a great haircut. She is trendy, young and skilled at her work. She takes her time cutting each piece of hair to perfection. I never feel rushed one bit. I recommend hair kuwayama to anyone who wants a stylish haircut for a great price. loved it – i have searched for years for someone to cut my hair the way I like it and i have finally found it!! Their cuts are truly artisitc and very inexpensive. I'm not sure about the receptionist chasing after a customer for a tip, but my experiences have been great and i will never go anywhere else to get my hair cut. They also do a beautiful job with highlights.
Discourteous – I am never going back to this hole-in-the-wall again! Sure the stylists know what they are doing and I had a pleasant time while getting my hair done. However, after I paid and was out the door, the receptionist actually came chasing after me to tell me outside (mind you, in the middle of a populated street) that the tip I gave to my stylist was measley. She told me to shell out the dough and embarrased me in front of a my spouse. What a way to ruin a day at the salon.
This place is amazing! – I love this place. They give amazing hair cuts, are incredibly courteous, and the price is great. The place is cozy, but really cool. Anyone who doesn't like this place has to be crazy - or cheap.
Great Haircut, friendly stylists – Hair Kuwayama is a great cozy salon. Although it's small, the stylists are skilled and friendly. Even though my appt. ran over and the next client had showed up, my stylist took her time and didn't rush. I love my new cut!
