RecommendedMy mom had major abdominal surgery in 2019 that saved her life. She received excellent care while she was there. From Dr Dayal, who was her surgeon, along with her colleagues who helped during the surgery. The nurses who cared for her while a patient there were fantastic. The case management team and ostomy nurses were also very helpful in explaining everything to proceed with her care at home. Her follow up surgery 6 months later was successful as well. She now leads a healthy and normal life .
Best facility for pediatrics, especially Crohn's in kids!! They saved my daughter!!

Had a 6 1/2 week stay, 3 surgeries and 2 surgeries to go! Staff was fantastic, food was okay I guess, hospitality was great! Would/will recommend HUMC to my friends and family, no doubt!
I had 4 surgeries there, 4with Dr. Asha Bale and 1with Dr. Mira Hellman. I never had surgery before but Dr. Bale made it so easy for me to get through the surgeries. She explains your treatments and procedures. I was in another Hospital and didn't like the Doctor, so I went to Hackensack. I'm so glad I did. I wish her all the best and please tell her to be safe during this hard time we are all going through. Thank You to all the Doctor's and Nurses who are working around the clock. God Bless you all.
