Went in with a really bad pain on my lower right side of my stomach was placed in the waiting area with no pain medicine just sitting there in pain then they come with my discharge papers saying I have to go to a Gastro for a follow up. They did nothing to help me with my pain they just disregarded how bad and how much pain I was in. Until this date I’m feeling horrible and it just gets worse and worse. Just awful service the interns don’t know what to do neither.

I cannot sing the praises of Hackensack Hospitals staff enough. My boyfriend was there for 13 days with a very bad infection- everyone from the doctors to the nurses (Agnes, Josephine, Cristelle, Vince, Eddie, Ruby- I’m sorry I know I’m forgetting some names!) , the nurses aides (Marcia, Rufeena, Mavis- again, I may have misspelled or forgotten names!) We were traumatized there. Voted the worst hospital in NJ
This hospital is not how it used to be. People are sleeping in hallways for days. MRI has Been broken over 24 hours. I’m disgusted.
The hospital administrators here should be ashamed of the patient care being provided by their staff. I understand that hospitals get busy and it's flu season, but my 84 year old grandfather arrived at the ER around 1pm a day ago and is still there, laying in a hallway because there is no space (despite being admitted the nurses say there's no chance he'll get a room). When his family tries to flag down a nurse to change his sheets, get him some food, or check on the myriad of tests that are supposed to be scheduled, we get ... read more
