Their website mentions that Pascack valley contains "all the resources of a large facility". However, I learned from recent horrific personal experience that Pascack Valley does not have something called a bleeding scanner. A bleeding scan is what my husband needed after coming in through the er, having an appendectomy at Pascack Valley the next morning and then a GI hemorrage 36 hours after surgery that resulted in hemorrhagic shock. Save yourself the trip, just go somewhere else, I wish to God we had.
I work here. Live 2 miles away. It was my ED of choice when my own child was hurt. She was seen immediately upon arrival and a specialist was called in to care for her. I love having my community hospital back and I love going to work helping my neighbors.
Wonderful knowledgeable staff, did every test. I thought I was having a heart attack and they where right on me with wires, monitors , injections etc....they where excellent. All the nurses in emergency and 4th floor where excellent.
