Hackenmueller's is THE best! Hackenmueller's is absolutely the best butcher shop we've ever been to (including out East or here in MN). It's the only butcher shop we go to and we live in Eden Prairie, so that means about 1/2 hour one way to get there.

Great meats Whenever I have a special occasion coming up and nothing but the best will do this is my main destination. Wonderful steaks and their prime rib roasts are excellant. They will spend time with you to find just the right cut. Can be busy on the weekends....but worth the wait.
the best butcher shop in town i have been going to Hackenmuellers since i was a baby, there is nothing like their meat. they have the BEST beef jerky i have ever tasted in my life. the smell of the store will make your mouth water and your stomach gr-awl. i could go on for ever on their meats,seafood, and side dishes are awesome. i recommended everyone i know to go there and i will continue for the rest of my life, my children will know of them and hopefully they like them as i do.from a faithful loyal customer
Great place for meat This place has been around since i was young.There meat is fresh-and good price.The beef jerky is so good ,whenever i go on any trips i buy it.Their staff are very helpful.
the greatest I used to live in Minneapolis and every time I am home have to go to Hackenmueller Meat to get my franks, butter garlic chicken breast, porter house steaks and my roast. It is a tradional meat counter with great variety of meat to choose from also it has it's own smoker. If you like good cuts of meats, sausage, franks, and even good seasoned items this is the place to visit. It's like a "field trip" to me every time I go home. For your bar be que meat needs go no place else.
Three Teens need al lthe help I can get With three teenage boys, you can't beat the prices at this local butcher. We regularly purchase the 100# choice meat package and have always been pleased. Good prices, good cuts of meat and they also offer homeade pot pies. The best ever!
Great Ham Hackenmueller Meats is the only place in the North Metro that I have found Swedish Sausage that I like. Spiced just right, tastes great. The spiral cut hams that they cure themselves are wonderful.
Wonderful Cuts of Meat This is a old-school butchershop, with all types of great meat cuts. They are very friendly and you may pay cents more for your meat, but you feel good about where it came from and what you are eating. Check it out!
