Worst cut and color i have ever gotten – After moving to Ballard, i decided to try out a local salon. A friend recommended habitude. Getting an appointment was easy and the girl on the phone was friendly enough. I got to the appointment right on time yet had to wait about half an hour longer. I brought two photos of exactly what i wanted. One of cut and one of color. I showed them to the stylist and even explained in further detail what i had in mind. Massage from Angie – I recently had a massage from Angie at the Ballard Habitude. She was amazing. I have had many massages before and this was one of the best. She was professional and listened to my needs. I especially enjoyed the hot towels during the massage and the face and scalp massage she did at the very end, like dessert after a satisfying meal. I would highly recommend her and Habitude if you are looking for a nice relaxing experience.
I got a cut from Frederick a couple of days ago. I was immediately at ease with his friendliness, warmth and humor. He gave me a very relaxing scalp massage before the shampoo and cut. I was thrilled with my haircut and have received numerous compliments since. Besides his talent, I was really pleased by his positive energy and sweetness. Frederick is wonderful.
WARNING! GAS LEAK! THIRD TIME THIS YEAR! – this is not so much a review, as a warning. during the past week habitude had a gas leak. this is not only the first, but THIRD! the real problem, though, is clients are not bing informed of it. business goes on as usual. clients coming in without any warning, service providers pressured into doing work, and the managers and owner trying to push it under the carpet. workers, and clients, are suffering numb tongues, and MASSIVE headaches. the poor clients are going to habitude to be ... read more
Aveda should be ashamed to affliated with this company!!! – OMG!!! this was by far the worst salon experience i have either had! I was in Seattle for work for the most of April and well wanted to get a little spa service and a hairstyle. Well from the time i called to schedule an appt the receptionist was rude like i was taking up her time. Relaxing Experience – I received a gift card for Valentines Day from a client and thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Habitude. I booked a Ultimate Massage and Ultimate Facial and was completely blissful by the time I left. My stress melted away. The atmosphere was alittle more rustic than I typically expect from a high end spa but staff were wonderful. The Aveda tea was a nice way to begin the experience. For a service oriented field, they miss the mark. – This is a place I want to like. It's convenient for me and I love the Aveda products, however every time I go, I am sadly disappointed. Last time I went to buy products, the girl at the front desk was rude and condescending when I asked for a product they used to carry.
