Pleasant stay – This hotel is surrounded by Austin's busy-ness, but you'll never know it when you're at the hotel. I remember the lush landscaping, especially around the pool, and how I forgot I was in Austin. The rooms were huge, compared to a standard hotel room, and comfy. I thought the included breakfast would be a little more health food oriented, but the other than that, this hotel is just fine.

A Great Place for A Family – I would strongly recommend Habitat Suites to friends and family. A family of five, we had a two bedroom suite - two bedrooms with a sleep away couch. Everyone was comfortable in the hotel. The kitchen is fully loaded with a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, pots and pans. We were very impressed with the breakfast and the evening brunch. There is absolutely no reason to go out in the time for a better breakfast unless you want a steak for breakfast. Infact, we felt that we only needed to be... read more

Stayed almost every year – We keep coming back here whenever we visit Austin. From arrival when we are greeted by friendly staff, to the big rooms & nice kitchens, to the great healthy breakfasts, we like it. Even the landscaping is organically grown & edible. I like the Green consciousness that is followed in running this place day to day. Wish we could walk to get somewhere besides Highland Mall, tho. The location means we need a car or to ride on city buses for a while to get downtown.

I love this place! – Habitat Suites rocks for multiple reasons: 1.Green, green, green. The most sustainable, amazingly conscious hotel I have ever stayed at and they have been that way before it seemed important. 2. Great suites, one and two bedroom with kitchen, which let's me cook when I want, which saves me money and is more healthy. 3. The grounds are gorgeous! Fig trees bursting with ripe figs, native landscaping, lovely pool and hot tub not overloaded with chlorine. Could use some aesthetic work, but water is clean. Tr... read more

Habitat is Nice Habitat – This was a great stay. I love this hotel and will return again. It is a good place to stay. My wife and I are from Bradford, Massachusetts and missed the comfort of home, but habitat was a nice home away from home. Very spacious! Posted by John Dustin R. and Annie R.

best place to stay – We liked staying here and will stay here again. It was close enough to UT and downtown that travel time was not an issue The breakfast buffet and happy hour snacks were good, beds were comfortable and we had a full kitchen in our suite. It was perfect for staying over with children, not so sure I'd go here for a romantic vacation, but great for a family trip.

Great getaway, breakfast and close to attractions – I have been staying at Habitat for over 8 years and always felt it is a hidden gem. The initial attraction was it was one of the first "green" hotels, but the added bonuses include quiet, serene surroundings, an oasis pool with a waterfall and gardens. The fabulous full breakfast buffet includes fresh and organic offerings alongside some delicious breakfast entrees, Starbucks coffee and Tazo teas. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and the proximity to attractions is ver... read more

Highly Recommended – A great selection of beverages and snacks each evening. Comfortable and clean rooms. Relaxing atmosphere with beautiful natural surrounds and peaceful silence not expected in this location which is very good (close to downtown) and within walking distance from the mall. Free hot breakfast that includes eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, hot and cold cereals, fruits, juices, milk, coffee and teas. Also has a Happy Hour with a vegan/vegetarian choice along side the ‘normal’ types of selections. Even... read more
