I had both hips replaced by Dr Schaaf. No issues with either surgery. Quite happy with Rothman and Dr Schaaf.

I had a right hip replacement with Dr Schaaf. In all my years and encounters with doctors he is without a doubt the best I have had. His knowledge, wisdom and straight forward approach was not only refreshing but comforting. I was very nervous going in to this but felt confident I had the right surgeon. I would recommend Dr Schaaf not only for his professionalism but Drs who engage in all your questions and fears are very hard to come by.

From my first visit with Dr. Schaaf, he has been attentive and caring. He is an extremely knowledgeable and capable surgeon and he takes the patient's concerns into consideration. The staff are friendly, compassionate, helpful and available. After an amazing experience of a total knee replacement a couple of months ago, I am heading back to have a hip replaced. I have total confidence that it will be another amazing experience!
Dr Schaaf replaced my L knee a year ago and I’ve been very pleased with his practice, patient skills, and support staff. Would not hesitate to have him do another procedure if my mobility calls for it.
In the past 2 1/2 years, Dr. Schaaf has replaced both of my knees and my right hip. Couldn't ask for a more kind, caring and professional surgeon. If I had any questions after my surgeries, just had to call and his assistant always got back to me promptly. Dr. Schaaf and Sarah are the best and I would recommend them highly.
