Voices have been heard! – He has recently lowered the prices- not sure what 'elcucui' was talking about with the expensive steak fajitas- they were $21. I ordered the same thing and I thought the steak was damn good. I love the atmosphere there- very welcoming and ascetically pleasing. I saw the cook come out and apologize to a customer for accidentally putting garnish on their dish as well. I would highly recommend getting a margarita here- my wife and I loved ours. THIS is Mexican food? – THIS APPLIES TO THE FRANKLIN SITE .....I cannot believe this place received any good press. It is the absolute worst food I have ever had. Ordered the steak fajitas. At $27.95 , they were certainly the most expensive I have ever ordered (ANYWHERE) The steak was sparse, was of poor quality with soggy peppers, onions and tomatoes, and get this, had cheese on it! food potrions were awesome – My family and I just ate at Gus' last week and we were very satisfied with their wait staff and food quality. We were seated right away and our server was very friendly. The food came out fast and the garnishing were fresh which added to the taste. I had the steak enchinlads with rice and beans. I could barley finish my plate but everything on it was amazing. Just tried it and loved it!!! – The food was excellent, service was right on and out party of 6 had an incredible time. I work in the area and definately will be back to try them for lunch. Check it you will love it to
Salsa and chips are good. Everything else is average at best. The service was good but the prices are high. The quality of the food and the price they charge are not equal. I probably won't be returning and I live just blocks away.
Dont listen to the first two reviews, those are people who wanted to get stuff for free or they are hard to please. This place is very clean and the food is very good. Not over priced either, lunch specials are under $8. Free chips and salsa. Food arrives at your table hot and plenty to eat. I love this place
!!! HORRIBLE !!! – My kids HotDog was dried out... My Wifes Enchiladas had NO Sauce, as far as I know enchiladas are supposed to have some sort of ENCHILADA sauce on them... My Tacos Had No Flavor.. If your looking to be cheated on your bill, yelled at by the owner, kicked out of building for merely questioning the bill, then Gus's Mexican Cantina is the place for you! After being overcharged and simply inquiring about the cost, Gus proceeded to mock me, laugh at me and walk away.
