History Established in 1965. Gus balon and his wife broke ground on gusbalonsrestaurant in 1963. They worked hard and opened on November 15 1965. Guss daughters ran the business for many years. Now guss granddaughter Kelli runs it. Three generations!

My eggs were perfect. The raisin bread was so good. And don’t even get me started on the rhubarb pie!! Just like my Gramma used to make. The staff was super friendly, wish it wasn’t so far from my house

One of the best restaurants in Tucson for grabbing a homemade breakfast or lunch. Terrific service, delicious food, pleasant atatmosphere. A long time family owned and operated restaurant, a Tucson landmark. If you haven't tried it, put it on your must do list, you won't be disappointed.
Nice old-time diner with good breakfasts that aren’t greasy. Good cinnamon rolls and homemade pies and bread.
Fast, friendly service. Great prices!
Excellent food ! I’ve never been served my food so fast. We were rained out from getting home due to washes running and was offered to stay and have coffee till we could get home! Now that’s down home hospitality !
Always our favorite place! Lunch was good and the PIE !! Yummmm
