History Established in 1965. Gus balon and his wife broke ground on gusbalonsrestaurant in 1963. They worked hard and opened on November 15 1965. Guss daughters ran the business for many years. Now guss granddaughter Kelli runs it. Three generations!

Gus Balon's is a Tucson institution. Terrific omelets, sweet rolls, home fries, pies.....on & on, everything is delicious! Friendly wait staff, reasonable prices. Love this place!

I have been going to Gus Balon's since it first opened back in 1965. I love this place....Friendly servers and cooks. And the owners are a great family. This place feels more like home to me.
