I went into the ******************* location and met with ***********************. I spent three hours with her taking my information and giving feedback about various programs that they offer. I was told about a program that one could qualify for a $6000 ***** in RED LINED AREAS. The link was sent to me, which stated Minorities. only giving a one cause I cant give a zero. Guild mortgage has not paid my home owners insurance, even though it expired on 7/13/23. I notified them 8/1 2023, and they didnt make a payment till 8/7/2023, which they put in snail mail , with out tracking, instead of overnighting it. I had to make up the additional 2 payments out of my checking account,. My insurance company has still not received the payment and they have no way of tracking it. Very poor customer service.

They made a clerical error on their side with escrow when I switched insurance companies and now they have raised my mortgage several hundred dollars, I will never recommend or go back to guild mortgage ever again, one of the worst experiences. I have talked to them 4 times today, don't rust them anymore

The SECOND I have the opportunity to refinance, I will. First, Guild laid off my husband in a merger WHILE WE WERE IN THE PROCESS OF BUILDING OUR HOME. Second, they wouldnt allow us to close on the construction loan until our lot had been loamed and seeded, as if grass has anything to do with the building process. Third, we thought Guild was collecting escrow for our homeowners insurance (because were first time buyers and had never heard of any other way) and we HAVE an escrow so why wouldnt it be included? Guild Mortgage company has the worst customer service!Nobody in the escrow impounds department knows what they are doing or in the insurance department. They have tacked on an additional homeowners insurance to my home loan when I already have pre-existing homeowners insurance, after talking to customer service they are three weeks behind and they are still sending out notices and final notices on taxes and insurances..

I had a dealing with Guild Mortgage company. I had gotten to the over 20% of my mortgage paid off and requested that my PMI stop being paid out of my mortgage payment. I was timely with my payments and had over 20% of the loan balance paid off. They sent a letter on January 26, 2023.
