I went to view the house at 3030 Courtside Drive. While it appears to have had cosmetic updates, there looks like some problems. There is a painted hole with a shelf added where the trash compactor used to be. The backyard fence looks as though it would fall down with a good wind. As I left, a woman who was driving by stopped and asked if I had just looked at the house. She said the heating and air conditioning for the addition over the garage was wholly inadequate. We've been in our Guardian home for about 3 weeks now and are enjoying it. The style of materials and color schemes used matched our style perfectly and Guardian is thoughtful with their design work. There have been some loose ends to clean up here or there but Mark and team have been responsive to addressing our major concerns to date. I moved into my Guardian home 3 weeks ago. Being a single woman, it was easy for me to instantly fall in love with my home! New floors, new cabinets, fresh paint, new fences - move in condition. I am writing this to express how happy I am with my experience with Mark Morris and the team at Guardian Homes! When I first bought my house in July 2011 it was all redone and looked great for being a re-model/flip house. However, within a year or so, my vinyl siding was warping and shrinking! Of course my wife and were frustrated and figured that we were in for a costly battle. I recently purchased a home that was sold by Guardian Homes. They did a great job remodeling the home both inside and out. Everything from the paint to the floors along with the landscaping was done. As expected there are always a couple things that needed some follow up, and our contact Mark Morris did a great job getting all the little things completed even after we moved in. I highly recommend a home that Guardian sells.
Just bought my home and trust me...spent hundreds already in repairs that they promised were done. They claimed to had fix leaks and new appliances, but it's all broken. A certified plumber that I hired came in and said it was all done by an unexperienced handyman. They use the cheapest equipment and it's all for show. The problems are deep down and buried and will be discovered once it's too late. If guardian is on the name STAY AWAY! They are horrible and the work is horrible quality.
DO NOT BUY A GUARDIAN HOME!! Unfortunately my boyfriend and I bought our first home from Guardian. Big mistake! ! They are great at first impressions. .. but that's all. They use the same cabinets, flooring, appliances and shower tile designs in nearly every home so they are easy to spot. Our cabinets were put in SO haphazardly. There are screws everywhere. All of the negative reviews below are 100% accurate!! Do NOT buy a Gaurdian home!!! The only thing they do a good job at, is coving up problems that buyers should be made aware of. I made the mistake of buying one of thier homes and Ive had more issues than I can count. And now that I'm stuck with the house, they're not even returning my calls. Steer very clear of any and all of thier homes.
We didn't purchase a home from them but I can totally understand the negative reviews left by others. I decided on a whim to stop in at an open house. I was told the home was renovated by Guardian. At first glance, I loved the home and even brought my husband back the next day to look it in further detail and speak with the agent there. That's when things got sneaky.
