San Antonio's ONLY Mexico City Kitchen - The MEX without the TEX. All our dishes are cooked in water, there is no lard, no grease no starches or flour in any of our sauces or soups. Instead we cook everything daily from SCRATCH, using only the freshest vegetables, meats, fish and a large variety of chiles. Chile is what gives our unique dishes their individual flavors. I ate here 6 years ago while attending an Army School.... And was so happy to be back to eat here again. The Mahi Mahi is sooooo good.

Our hotel suggested we eat at Rosario's, but when we went we discovered it was closed Sunday a quick google search led us to Guajillo's. We loved it through and through. Parking was well marked which impressed me. Quick easy seating. Quick service. The salsa was quite possibly the best tasting salsa we've ever had. And it burned a hole in us later that night! Whoo! This is the most authentic restaurant in San Antonio. The food is absolutely fabulous! I have been eating here for YEARS and the staff is very friendly. Carlos The owner is the best!
