San Antonio's ONLY Mexico City Kitchen - The MEX without the TEX. All our dishes are cooked in water, there is no lard, no grease no starches or flour in any of our sauces or soups. Instead we cook everything daily from SCRATCH, using only the freshest vegetables, meats, fish and a large variety of chiles. Chile is what gives our unique dishes their individual flavors. this place is overrated!!! service is great but the food is way overrated! the corn chips are from a bag, they only have one salsa that is hot, they have no borracho/charro beans, the rice taste like uncle ben's (disgusting) and they don't have aguas frescas. This is a place where people go that haven't been to Mexico and think this is real Mexican food because it's not the tradicional tex-mex restaurant, but it's by far not real Mexican food.
