My boyfriend's sister had to have emergency surgery this morning after being at GBMC for advanced Crohn's Disease and I have to say, you couldn't ask for better care from the doctor's and nurses down to the cleaning personnel. I went to GBMC Emergency Department yesterday after being in an automobile accident. It was the best experience I have had at an ER. I was greeted promptly when i arrived, a patient advocate came around to say hello and update us in wait times. The Triage nurse was kind and thorough. The XRay tech was pleasant and seemed to really enjoy her job. And Dr. White and his team were excellent. They treated me quickly but thoroughly. Just went here for my daughter who is 6 and having bad stomach pain. What they call a pediatric ER is a joke. You sit in the same ER and there is no communication. After over an hour and we were the only ones in there I asked the status of the wait and told sorry can’t give you that. Adult nurse triage kids. Your better off going to St. Joseph’s hospital. We left.
patient care is horrendous... mother's linens and gown not changed for 4 days. spoke to charge nurse and floor manager who both indicated that's not their responsibility. really? patient care not a responsibility? Told them I would like to contact president's office and their response was he wouldn't do anything but refer me back to them. Wow... guess patient care is not anyone's responsibility there... we received amazing care when she was at St Joe's... Unit 34 BTW
My Mom who battled stage 4 Colon cancer lost for 4 yrs lost her battle with this evil disease 2months ago ...she was always treated at GBMC.. yes there have been great nurses & doctors along the way .. HOWEVER.. NOT one person from the hospital and especially from the Sandra & Malcolm Berman Cancer Institute reached out to me to offer condolences and to ask what they can do to help me as I was Mom’s caregiver and they knew that very well !! This has been the best around the clock work i ever had i have visited a lot of hospital packed ones but gbmc entire EMERGENCY team i have to thank for saving me today shout out to you ladies and gents they checked on me 24/7 and took every pre caution possible keep saving lives like you saved mines signed the flu patient from room 18😂😂😂😂I’m sure y’all will remember me lmbo
Great to come to GBMC Hospital not having to worry about parking tickets,Lot Attendants,Paying for parking.My Neurosurgeon Office Had Plenty Of Parking and Security was always near.Thanks GBMC For The conveniences Of going to a doctors visit
