I have a 9 year old and a 4 year old and we have been going to Growing Smiles since we moved to Chicago 4 years ago. We absolutely live it! We see DR. Reena and our hygienist is Megan and I cannot speak highly enough of them!! Totally recommend!
Every dentist in this office is great. The hygienists are wonderful too. They really know how to cater to kids. We've been coming here since my youngest had teeth.
So easy to go to a place that knows kids and and works patiently with them on their level. It's never easy to have a new and strange experience with a bunch of grown-up's but for my 5-year-old, it was completely pain free and he didn't even talk about it after leaving. We might as well have been at a playspace in his mind!
We took our 21 month old son for his first dental appointment today and it was fantastic. I wish I'd stressed way less about it. Both the doctor and the technicians were so kind and gentle. My son didn't love it, but it was way less traumatic than I could have imagined and he even enjoyed parts of it. The office itself is beautiful and full of light and toys. We have been going to Dr. Shah since our children were very young, even before she founded this practice. No kids like going to the dentist but ours always did because Dr. Shah made it fun and informative. My kids now look forward to having their teeth cleaned and have great dental hygiene as teenagers. We are sad to be leaving - due to the fact that our kids are no longer kids - and highly recommend her practice.
What a relief is was to find Growing Smiles. My daughter was apprehensive about visiting the dentist, but Dr. Michael and the wonderful dental assistant and hygienist put my daughter at ease immediately. She actually enjoyed visiting the dentist and left smiling! We are so happy to have found a permanent dentist for our daughter.
We moved to suburbs about 4 years ago and I still drive back to see Dr. Kristin and the gang. Going to the dentist can be an awful experience, but we don't have that problem with Growing Smiles! Their patience, enthusiasm and ability to make my kids feel at ease are top notch! I would highly recommend it!
