I just wanted to let you know that the maintenance man is wonderful!
I've been in a Group Fox building for 3 years and just renewed my lease for another because I love my apartment and have had only great experiences with my maintenance guy and the office.
The sitch: I realize about 3 months late that I must downsize my life, but I for serious do not want to move. But I find out that with Group Fox, if you move to a smaller apartment of theirs, you don't have to break the lease, you only have to pay a tiny transfer fee, and it doesn't go on your record, meaning that landlords will still be willing to rent to you later on in life. I just recently found an apartment through Group Fox. Arnell helped my boyfriend and I and was extremely patient, showed us only apartments that exactly fit the criteria we were looking for, and was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with =) I went through Apartment Savvy the week before and had a miserable experience. Group Fox is pretty awesome (especially for a FREE service) and Arnell was awesome and I'd suggest calling him!
I have lived in a group fox building for 2 years now, and I find the service both friendly and helpful. The management seemed more than willing to assist me, and I never experienced issues with bugs of any kind other than the obvious summer mosquito.
the things that have really impressed me with group fox are the little ones- the building lobby is cleaned at least once a week, hallway carpets are always vacuumed, and when there was a rip in the awning above the front door, it was replaced!
i live in one of their mid-rises in uptown, and i've never had a problem. from the beginning, when i was viewing apartments and found one i liked, they made the lease-signing process fast and easy by offering to email and fax everything- meaning i didn't have to leave work to go to an office to sign. when i moved in, the apartment was *spotless*. new paint, floors done, blinds clean, not even dust anywhere. the few maintenance requests i've had have ALWAYS been resolved within 24 hours (thanks to both groupfox and the awesom... read more
Absolutely great – The woman who took us through the building, Kim, was absolutely great. She showed us several apartments, was very honest and helpful and actually took the time to show us the apartment we wound up getting twice before we moved in (there were still people living in it so it was a pain to schedule).
They take care of things in a more timely manner – I like renting from Group Fox because they take care of things in a more timely manner. Things like annual pest control, and maintenance like window washing get done regularly. During the whole rental process, from when we first took a tour of the apartment, things went smoothly. Our maintenance guy lives on site, so I just call his cell and leave him a message if I need some work done in our apartment.
