As an RN, I spent 10 of my 40 years working ortho. It’s always different being on the receiving end of care but I have nothing but great things to say. I went in initially with severe shoulder pain. When his prescribed conservative treatment failed to help, an MRI confirmed the need for surgical repair of a rotator cuff tear. Dr. G. listens, he explains things in layman’s terms, he is thorough and takes his time with you, far better than most. Best of all, he does good work in the OR! Great doc!
Dr. Grosskopf is an amazing surgeon. I had shoulder surgery in December and had the mishap of developing frozen shoulder. He then performed a manipulation in May~ and my shoulder is back to 100%! Dr. Grosskopf takes the time to listen, never rushes at appointments and always makes sure your concern/questions are answered! He fully explained each procedure. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend and encourage anyone to see Dr. Grosskopf!
I was very pleased with the outcome of my rotator cuff surgery and my recovery. Dr Grosskoff was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable and friendly. The staff was great and I also had a great experience with Doctors of Physical Therapy who is next door to their office.
I have had 2 surgery on both shoulders one in 2010 and recently. Great results on both. Plus I have a physical job and no problems. Highly recommended and have recommended to several people.
I initially saw a doctor associated with a large orthopedic group in Geneva. When I learned that I needed surgery, I knew I needed to find a doctor that treated his patients with the highest level of care and professionalism. Dr. Grosskopf and his staff are top notch and I would highly recommend them.
Dr. Grosskopf is a fantastic surgeon. He repaired my right rotator cuff a few years ago and that shoulder is now as good as new. He recently repaired my left shoulder’s labrum separation and I fully expected it to heal 100% as well. Dr. Grosskopf takes a personal interest in his patient’s well-being and recovery. He fully explains the procedure, both before and after. His office staff is awesome as well. I highly recommend and encourage people to use Dr. Grosskopf.
Dr. Grosskopf and his entire staff are a breath of fresh air. I am a new patient and the office staff helped get me in right away due to serious pain. Dr. Grosskopf was extremely helpful in getting my back to work, and giving me direction going forward regarding my treatment. Dr. Grosskopf performed surgery on shoulder just about a year ago. The surgery went well and the directed follow up by the Dr. was accomplished as planned. I followed his direction throughout the rehab and in the given period my shoulder and arm have returned to almost 100%.. Given the fact that I am 77 years old I did not expect my shoulder and arm to return to what it was like when I was much younger but it has come close. Dr Grosskopf took a personal interest in my recovery and rehab.
Excellent experience. I had shoulder surgery. Appointments always on time and no wait. Surgery went smooth, no set backs, Excellent communication with staff and between staff and physical therapists. I would highly recommend Dr. Grosskopf
