I had a very difficult surgery (ruptured Achilles tendon 3 months after injury) and I could not be happier with the outcome. I had NO PAIN for a majority of my first 6 weeks post surgery in the cast. He was highly recommended by my Physical Therapist and I am fortunate to have such an experience Doctor repair my tendon.

Before I saw Dr. Grosskkopf I had been to 2 different Orthopedics who specialize in knees. For over 8 months I had been in pain. I could not walk, sleep or sit without pain. Needless to say, it was taking a toll on my life. My previous doctors told me I had arthritis, gave me cortisone (didn't help) Physical Therapy (didn't help) and sent me on my way. I was a mess! My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Grosskopf over 10 years for knee issues. Dr. Grosskopf has been great to partner with as he provides options, working through the least invasive options first before moving to surgery. He is a great listener and has answered all of our questions; we have never felt rushed.

So glad Dr. Grosskopf did the surgery on my daughters shoulder. Everything from start to finish went perfectly smooth. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and his staff is wonderful!! I’ve worked in the medical field as an X-ray tech and known many orthopedic surgeons but cannot recommend him enough.

Dr. Grosskopf and his staff are wonderfully patient, kind, and helpful. I'd had shoulder surgery previously with another surgeon and I cannot say the same for that experience. When I needed surgery on my other shoulder, I was very happy to find Dr. Grosskopf. I heartily agree with all positive statements regarding this surgeon and his staff: sincere, humble, knowledgeable, . . . the list goes on and on!

Dr. Grosskopf is a remarkable surgeon! In 2012, he successfully repaired a torn meniscus in my left knee and in April 2013, I was still able to run the Boston Marathon! In Sept 2018, he repaired my right shoulder and bicep tendon. Before surgery, he spent quality time with me discussing the entire procedure and thoroughly answered all my questions. He is so caring and trustworthy and his staff is very friendly! I highly recommend Dr. Grosskopf!

This is the best Orthopedic Surgeon I've seen. He's not only good at what he does, but goes the extra mile while in surgery and out of surgery. He spent an extra hour + in surgery on a tear that didn't show up on the MRI. He noticed other issues on the MRI that probably caused my shoulder issue other doctors missed. The staff is professional and caring for all patients. Next door is the DPT physical therapy clinic which also did a knock out job with my rehabilitation. Great job everyone!!!
