The most frustrating experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. The staff was unorganized and unprofessional. No one communicated with each other. We got bad information on the duration on the warranty. When we picked up the vehicle they said it was detailed and it still had sticky stuff on the windows and dirt under the hood. Buying an Audi I expected more. To top it off someone from the dealership called me two weeks after buying the car and inquired if I was still interested.
I'm visiting from out of state and had to have my MB serviced at Grossinger Motors today. Everyone I dealt with was professional and very friendly. I did deduct one star because it took a little longer than the time I had been told it would take (as it has with every other dealership I've dealt with). All in all, I was pleased and left as a happy customer. Bonus: They did a fantastic job washing my car...it is gleaming!
I find the service department to be very unprofessional. Apparently it is against store policy to change breakpads on a 30k vehicle (for the first time!) Without changing the rotors which are fine. It's a lightly driven SUV not a race car fools.
They talk about their free car wash when you buy a car from them. But anytime I have gone for a car wash I always get this excuse that their porters have gone home or it will have to wait 2 hours. I thought Suds was bad these people are worse if I may say so. Try to get a free car wash after you buy the car and post your comments about your experience - it will be like mine. One day I did spend 2 hours luckily I kept myself busy. Caroline Grossinger please take note.
This dealership has a horrible customer service department. Pete DeMeis and the rest of his staff will ignore you if there is a warranty issue with your car. I have been about 7 months trying to get a answer to my situation. I would not recommend buying a car here. There are other dealerships that will be glad to service a vehicle and try to keep their customers happy. SHAME ON YOU GROSSENGER MOTORS your customer service department is horrible
Four months my car has been sitting outside in the weather waiting to get worked on. Eddie emailed me "I will follow-up immediately..." the week before Thanksgiving. A follow-up call to him last week got no response. The problems started in March during a regular service visit, then they took it "overnight" in August. Does anyone know what the root problems are there?
