In February of 2017,I was referred to Dr. Gross for what was believed to be a sinus infection. After the first exam by Dr. Gross he saw that something was not right. He immediately scheduled a Cat-Scan and after that review I underwent an MRI . Dr Gross saw my condition was serious (cancer ) I was scheduled for surgery asap and all results were good. Dr Gross and his staff have been exceptional for my well being and he has seen me through all my cancer treatments. In my view Dr. Gross is GREAT.
I suffer with ongoing depression, so was not the easiest patient to work with. Realizing how quickly my type of cancer could spread, Dr. Gross was VERY tenacious with my treatment. When I missed appointments & didn't respond to office reminders, he called me personally, even sending me a letter by classified mail. He also stayed in constant touch with my other doctors to make sure my surgery and other treatment could be expedited. Dr. Gross truly cares about each of his patients.
Dr Gross is caring, and quite perfectionist surgeon. His office staff and nurses are awesome!. Had thyroid surgery done. Details of the procedure was explained. The surgery was lengthy, but keep us posted on the patient's status. At the recovery room, Dr, Gross frequently monitored the patient's voice status and frequently check on the patient. At the unit, he called the patient at night to check how is he doing ! Patient was discharged the 3rd day w/o problems. He called the patient at home!
Dr Gross took the time to listen to my concerns and explained the plan of care. He also reviewed all procedure and test results with me. Made me feel like I was part of his team.
