My rental unit had a 16 year old ac unit, which had been limping along for 2 or 3 years. This summer was no exception. Frank from Grogg's came out and did what repairs he could, but said before furnace time the unit really needed replaced. Plans were made to call in after Labor Day, get an estimate and replace the unit well before cold weather. I've called for technician for my split ac unit. When he showed up he saw the engine was mounting on the wall. Which means he need the leader on his car. He refused to bring it saying "I'm not going to take my leader off the car and carry it. Talk to who ever you want" and went. I called and talked to Adam. The manager. He said he doesn't care and he won't listen to me. And ended the conversation while I was talking. At the end. It's the worse service ever. I lost my time and that company is black listed for me!!! The issue at hand of not performing work for this customer today is true. We did not perform work nor did we charge him for the call out of service. When the technician got the job site he was asked to perform unsafe acts. The acts would be in direct violation of our safety policies and OSHA standards. When the technician informed the customer he was not going to be able to help him today he sounded off on my tech about being required to do so.
