RecommendedGreat pub atmosphere with a healthy beer on tap menu. Cozy and inviting. Foods good too.
Some days I don’t feel like a heavy meal and the Grog has a great selection from land or sea. The food tastes great and service outstanding. Mind you if I want something heavy duty they have that too.
entertainment downstairs is always a great choice too!

Everything about The Grog is top shelf...I’ve played there and enjoyed just being there enjoying the ambiance...
The local atmosphere is great as is the beer selection. My husband and I both got the Sirloin bowl. It was nice but too much teriyaki sauce (better to go light with extra on the side). We both commented that there should be some greens then realized they forgot the spinach. They brought us a single serving of very salty sautéed spinach. Maybe best to stick with fish or burgers. Creme Brulee didn’t taste homemade with fake whipped cream. Our server was very nice.
you feel at home from your first visit
Beat battle on a snowy night...decent crowd considering our first winter storm. Bring them back in the late spring/summer and no doubt you will have to turn people away!!
We were here today celebrating belatedly our brother's birthday. At our request, we were seated in a booth (party of 6). Hailey was our most excellent server, friendly, efficient and attuned to our needs. We had Grog burger, Turkey club, haddock sandwich, Cuban sandwich, and 2 Reuben sandwiches.
