Tonight the gristmill missed the mark...sat down at 930 and got food at 1015, only to have one meal come out cold. Waitress took meal back and then we spoke to a manager at 1030...by this point the rest of us were about done eating. We were told they would “comp” the meal but how to do you “comp” something you never delivered. The waitress was great and over apologetic. Usually a good place to eat, just not tonight.

Waited 2 hrs to be sat which was understandable since it was Mother’s Day, but expected the food to be great.. it was not. My burger was dry. Nobody seemed impressed with their meal. I ordered some spicey cheese sauce which the menu said was .99 extra on my bill it was charged for 7.99 I told the waiter and we think he just moved it onto my sisters bill because her bill went up. We were very hot and just wanted to get out of there so we paid and left but doubt we will make the trip there again.
Gristmill has such a great atmosphere..we always enjoy going there! Please put more seating around the outdoor waiting area, for when it's crowded.
Never have I been to a restaurant where the wait to be seated was an HOUR AND A HALF !
Great food but the wait was way too long. We had to wait for two hours to get a table. They need to have a better way to communicate instead of a customer sitting st the restaurant and wait for the turn by looking at the board. That’s why I’m giving a 4 star rating and not 5.
Great view and great atmosphere. Friendly people. Great food
Poor service, cold food and hot tables. Manager was no help at all. Not too mention overpriced. Not coming back.
