Love the atmosphere here at the Gristmill River Restaurant - sitting outside under the oak trees or inside during cold weather is very festive. Attentive staff and great food.
Great place to sit down for an outstanding meal. With legendary Gruene hall just steps away the ambience is just great for a cold one with an awesome meal. We will return soon.
Very nice place to go after your walk around town.
Other than a long wait to be seated sometimes, the food is worth waiting for. Especially the wings and Gruene Brothers best Wurst.
Every time I come down to south Texas to float the river I eat here. Great food, overlooking the river.
The atmosphere is great, service was great and the food is good.
The best absolutely love!!!! Had the best time with my family .... best steak sandwich ever!!! Great service did not even mind the wait they .... They had live music and drinks to enjoy till your table was ready ❤️

The food and ambiance were pure Texas! I am going to find the recipes for the Gruene Beans and the Tomatillo Chicken! DELICIOUS!
