I have been trying to get a oil delivery for over 3 weeks now . I called them again on Saturday and was told I would get a call on Monday morning but didn't . So I called them that afternoon and was told they should be there and again on Tuesday and Wednesday the same . Wednesday when I spoke with the office she assured it would be here and now it is Thursday . It looks like at this point I need to call another company or we will freeze to death waiting on Griffith . Needless to say I will never recommend anyone to this comp... read more

I purchased a new Heat Pump Cooling and Heating system. Back in June of 2017. Since that time I have had to have service done on my unit one year later and every season thereafter. The heat would not produce heat and the A.C would not produce the cool air that it should. I have a total of 6 + visits to my home to have the unit serviced sine purchased. Currently I am without air conditioning. I have spoken with the general manager, to no avail. I have paid over $4,000 for this unit and my expectation is to have it work proper... read more

I've been with Griffith Energy for 20+years. Prices went up over 5 dollars a gallon for propane. I switched to another company, that was half that price. Called to have tank pick up. Waited 1 month , called to see why hasn't been picked up. Griffith will pick up next day. Going to charge $76.00. To pick up their tank. I feel they are charging way to much if other companies can charge half their price. Very disappointed

This company is the worst company, bar none! Don't believe them I am 76 years old. Handicapped. I have lived in my home since 1969. It is in DC. FOR THE FIRST 40 years of delivery all the small companies which Griffith bought out did a fine job. Since Griffith gobbled them up they r the worst. I would have better luck with accountability if I had to call the Federal Government. Griffith lies. Their driver was supposed to come on Friday. Came. Terrible, Been with this company for 9 years, this year has been the worst! I was having my heating oil coming out of the Cheverly branch. For 3 days straight they said I was scheduled for Oil delivery on all three days, however when I could get a hold of them, they assurred me that the delivery was scheduled on all three days, Never have received any oil delivery! I have been a customer of Griffith Energy Services for many years. Up until recently I have been satisfied with their service. Recently I was without heat for 11 days after I made my initial call to tell them my furnace was down and I needed a technician to come out to check it. The person that answered the phone insisted that the problem was that I needed oil. I told her I didn't need oil. I had just checked the gauge on my tank and it indicated it was 3/4 full plus the tank had just been filled a month prior to this call. ... read more

If I could pull my new Columbia Boiler off my wall and leave it in Griffiths waiting area I would. We have run out of propane now, twice and here's the kicker, because we financed our new system through Griffith we are required to be on automatic delivery. We are out of propane for the second time this winter due to Griffith. We've been customers for over a decade. Something has gone very wrong at Griffith, as they used to be ok.

I purchased a ($10,000+) oil fired boiler from Griffith and their personal installed the entire system including new zone valves. Every year since the installation my furnace goes down or has leaks from the zone valves at least once each season. Poorly trained service technicians and managers who don't return calls. Now they are saying they didn't do the installation of the zone valves because they were done with improper materials!

We have had a service contract with them for many many years. I don't remember using them for a problem only for routine maintenance. I called them Friday morning to report no heat. We thought it was a thermostat problem. They walked us through changing the batteries still no luck. they then told us they would schedule us ASAP. No one showed up until Monday. We walked around wrapped up in blankets as well as layered sweat shirts and sweat pants. They sent a wonderful man whose name is Jerome and he took care of our problem. ... read more
