Always very accommodating when I need an appointment. Saw PA both visits.. He takes time and explains results of x-rays, etc . very well. Would highly recommend Dr. Slappey and this office.
Made an appointment for a small procedure that could not wait...even during this Coronavirus outbreak. I wore a mask and when I arrived a receptionist, wearing a mask, sat just outside the door to greet me and check me in. She was also wearing a mask. Asked if I had my phone and asked for my number so I would not have to wait in office waiting room...great set up to maintain social distancing. Received needed treatment and out of office quickly. Total anterior hip replacement in January 2019. I was back at work in 8 weeks with no restrictions. Everything has been great since. His nurse Sharon also gets 5 stars. Thank you and your team for all you have done to make my surgery and recovery a success. :-)
Dr Slappey replaced my right hip in July, 2018, and I feel like he gave me back my life. I was hobbling around on 2 canes, but now I walk with no aids, have no trouble climbing stairs, and I am able to work in the yard and even workout at the gym.
I have been a patient of Dr Slappey for many years. He has performed knee replacement surgery and just recently Carpal Tunnel surgery. Not only is he an amazing doctor, but he is also an amazing person. He truly care about his patients. I highly reccommend Dr Slappey and the entire staff at the Carrollton Orthopaedic Clinic.
