Visit was great and he explained procedure and recovery and everything went well and as he explained it.
Dr. Sassmanshausen and his team are excellent. They listen to concerns, and explain everything thoroughly. They take time to understand their patients needs both before and after surgery. I am thoroughly satisfied with Dr. Sassmanshausen and his entire team. I received personalized care from them in a way that made me comfortable. They are number 1 in my book. I trust Dr. Sassmannshausen very much. He tells you exactly what to expect and what he will be doing.
I had a rotator cuff repair in May 2018, after doing physical therapy until mid September I was still having a lot of pain. My HR person contacted our work comp person. They then scheduled an appointment with Dr. Sass . After having another MRI the Dr. explained that the first surgery had torn loose and that I would need another surgery. However when I had the surgery, I was told afterword that the first surgery was healing perfectly. The Dr. found a bone spur that had to be taken off.
Dr Sass, was extremely pleasant and took his time to explain the procedure. I live in Michigan and he would thank us for driving so far to see him and worked with our schedule.. I would highly recommend Dr Sass!
Dr. Sass and his staff have been tremendous through this entire process. (knee arthroscopic surgery) They take time to thoroughly explain everything and answer all questions. Dr. Sass also has a way of putting medical procedures/terminology in layman's terms which helps ease anxiety. I felt incredibly comfortable with all of his recommendations and final decisions for treatment and to ease pain/discomfort post-operatively. I would highly recommend Dr. Sass to anyone, especially friends/family.
Dr. Sass was thorough in explaining the procedure before surgery. He does not waste time but patiently answered my questions in a way I easily understood. All the nurses, physical therapists, and operating room staff had very positive comments about his skills as a surgeon. I felt reassured before the operation and have no complaints after.
