Very good communications.
My neighbor recommended Dr. Sassmannshausen and he is a very picky guy. I was impressed with the first visit with him. He was very straight forward and took the time to explain every detail to me so that I could understand every step he was going to do. he made sure that is my decision to proceed forward if I wanted too. All the staff was very helpful in setting up appointments and answering any questions that I had. After several years of pain, discomfort, loss of mobility and a physician that I felt like was no longer was going to help me; I met Dr. Sassmannshausen. At our first meeting he was welcoming to me as a person. He listened to every word I said. He didn't interrupt or try to to silence what I had to say. He never minimized what I was experience. Dr. Sass was confident without being arrogant. He listened to my concerns and treated me with respect. His nurse was very helpful, too.
Had both of my knees worked on and Dr. Sass was excellent! I'm sure I will need him in the future and he would be my only choice!

I have appreciated Dr Sass and his team in regards to the care I have received in relation to my knee replacement. The daily check- in has allowed me to ask questions and receive a quick reply back. They have called me when necessary and/or to see how I was doing. They prepared me to know what to expect through the PACE clinic and the LOOP videos. I would definitely recommend Dr Sass to my friends if they need this procedure.
Dr. Sass is the epitome of a great physician. He is pleasant and friendly but still very professional. He is thorough in his assessment and management of the problem. He explains your condition very well using orthopedic models and explaining results of x-ray/MRI. He is not quick to rush you into a surgery, but offers you options. I wished all health care providers were like this provider!
Dr. Sassmannshausen & Todd DeTurk have provided excellent care for me. All my questions were answered in a very respectable way. They are very courteous, while never rushing, talking over, or belittling my questions or concerns. I have already recommended a family member to see Dr. Sass and she has. BTW...the staff is awesome!!! The nurses are just as great as Dr. Sass himself! I'm so happy I found FWO to treat me!
