The professionalism of Dr. Hanna and all staff members has be exceptional. I feel as if they go over and above the normal call of duty. I would also like to mention the portal that is used to keep in touch the the patient. Dr. Sassmannshausen is a very skilled and trained surgeon. He and his team go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and cared for.

After dislocating my elbow and fracturing my coronoid and radius bones (know as the terrible triad) in a mountain bike accident I needed to find a surgeon to take my case. After getting turned down by three upper extremity specialist in the Fort Wayne, IN area Dr. Hall not only accepted me as a new patient for him but got me in for an appointment the next day. Dr. Hanna was attentive to all my needs regarding my knee replacement. Although there is some pain associated with this procedure, it was handled by proper medication and at seven days I was able to put down the walker and fully transition to walking the following day. I was climbing stairs on day 7 and have been back to work since day 15. There is still work to do to regain a full range of motion, but the pain has been eliminated. The follow-up care in person and online daily was very helpful.
Very thorough about what needs to be done and how we are going to get there. A second Dr said that there was no infection growing and the knee could be put back in right away. Dr Koleittis wanted to keep on the same plan that we started with and not cut corners. Working out well.
I wish I could give Dr. Hall more than five stars. He is great. Had I known my carpal tunnel/cubital nerve surgeries would be so easy, I’d have done it long ago. I was home within hours both times. The bandages stayed on 5 days but I was using my hands some the same day. He even contacted me by email to check on my progress and to inquire if I was having any issues. If you’re considering surgery with Dr. Hall, do it!
