Took care of father with advanced prostate cancer after quite a bit of tardiness from previous provider. Very compassionate, scientifically driven and considerate of the bigger picture.

He performed a no-scalpel, closed-ended vasectomy through a single incision that did not require stitches in my case. He used cauterization to seal the ends of the vas. Dr. Cost is very considerate of patient concerns and knowledgeable of relevant literature (e.g. regarding PVPS). He would have been willing to perform an open-ended vasectomy if I wanted that, but I ended up accepting his default approach of performing a closed-ended one after our discussion.

It has been about a year since Dr. Cost performed my prostate surgery and everything went great. I have been more than pleased with the nerve sparing laparoscopic procedure that was performed. Dr. Cost has a great demeanor that is calming during a very chaotic time. His surgical skill as stated in other reviews is exemplary. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs prostate surgery.

Dr Cost is an incredibly kind and compassionate physician and a very skilled surgeon. I was so glad I had him to do my surgery--especially when I ran into some complications. He is just the kind of doc you want to have in your corner. He is a strong advocate for his patients and I felt like he did whatever it took to make sure I was as free of stress and anxiety as I could be before, during and after the surgery. Great doctor!
