Dr Komenda quickly diagnosed a problem that urgent care doctors and a PT had failed to identify correctly. He prescribed a medication that had me feeling much better in just a few hours.
Good meeting was open. Do I answer my questions and spending the time to clarify his which was always informative.. Finally, I have answers and now start the hard PT work.
Dr. Komenda will not disappoint. He is kind, and knowledgable, and answers questions, and I found his direct approach refreshing. The team was good, sometimes communications got a bit sticky, but overall I am 100% glad I had Komenda as my surgeon and his medical team were responsive, communicative, and for the most part, met all my needs with kindness and caring. This was the second surgery he performed. The shoulder repair was great. The knee replacement isn't fully healed yet, but I am thrilled so far.
Dr. Komenda was very knowledgeable and helped me understand my issue and what needed to happen next. I felt very much respected as a patient and that I would be taken care of!
Visit was fine, with one exception. Although the doctor was wearing a mask, as would be expected, most of the time it was below his nose, which kind of defeats the purpose.
Have to have shots in knees and he is so kind, gentle, funny dictor.
Professional, seen on time, Listened, explained, recommended next steps, discussed and collaborated on treatment.
Dr Komenda did my right shoulder about eight years ago. Turned out great. I just had my left shoulder replacement and medical technology seems even better.
Dr. Komenda was extremely helpful in explaining his diagnosis of my knee problems and outlining next steps. I will be following through with the treatment he recommended. I feel like I am in good hands.
