Love GSP for the convenience, but how the baggage can take so long every time in such a small airport is beyond me. 33 mins since landing, and they're just now coming out!
Great experience as always flying out of GSP. Love the new look and setup. I've never once had an issue with security lines or waiting. But if I can make one small request, for those deaf or hard of hearing it would help to have some sort of tv monitor saying what is going on and who is boarding at each gate.
About to drive to Charlotte (CLT) to board non-stop to Paris. HATE to not use GSP, but the Big Name carriers are so awful about getting connecting flights to/from GSP, that we choose to go the "old" way to have some control. Have used Southwest as a work-around, but the new GSP-ATL-GSP-only arrangement adds $$ and hours to travel. GSP deserves more respect.
ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR SECURITY!!!!! This week was the second time I have utilized GSPs new centralized security line. Not impressed. What used to take 20 minutes took over an hour this am. TSA was not motivated to expedite the line and noticed several incidents of less than optimal treatment. As a frequent flyer I have always enjoyed flying from GSP, vs lager airports. After several millions of dollars in renovations think "improved traveler experience" might not have made the list. What's worse... No one to complain to.. Can... read more
Well, I will keep it short. What used to be a very efficient TSA airport, has become a nightmare...With the new setup after construction we need more TSA staff during peak hrs.
