If you are up for a pretty rambunctious scene, you will enjoy this antique saloon built in 1890 and generally agreed upon as the oldest bar in Key West. The co-owned smokehouse next door called "Meteor," serves pork, chicken, beef and seafood until 2am. Play pool, darts, or pinball while trying a "spine-tingling" cocktail. Awesome Bloody Mary The Green Parrot bar in Key West is a well known local establishment. enjoy the scenery inside and enjoy one of there famous Bloody Mary's. Friendly bar staff.
End of night place to be 1am to 4am – Mostly blues music with bands, It's the place locals go when all else has died down. Great atmosphere and never to crowded. reasonable drink pricing, pool table as well as pinball machines.
Key West's very own version of "Cheers." – The Scene Once you reach the Green Parrot, you may decide not to leave. Its laid-back, unpretentious atmosphere invites you to sit and relax. Reasonably priced drinks, billiard tables, darts, pinball, skeeball and vintage video games may keep you around longer than you intended. There's a reason locals frequent this joint. On weekends, you'll find live music and a crowded dance floor.
For the locals – Ah, the Parrot. My first taste of an open-air, tropical bar on a quite side of Key West. I had the best nights there; lots of local flavor, very friendly bartenders, good music. Favorite for locals. It's a blast.
