Tired of his 5 a.m. forays, a young farmer decided he had milked his last cow. He conceived the idea to build a roadside sandwich stand. This sandwich stand on Somerset Pike (Route 985) in Jennerstown evolved into the Laurel HIghlands landmark it is today, known as Green Gables Restaurant, a Wine Spectator award winner. My daughter was married at Green Gables on Oct 8 and it was beautiful! Teresa and her staff made everything easy for us to enjoy our day and not worry about a thing! Thank you all so much!

We had our entire wedding at Green Gables! The bridal party stayed in Huddleson Court, and we had our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and wedding reception at Green Gables. Teresa and her staff were fabulous! They were accommodating, helpful, and had such great eyes for detail. We felt taken care of throughout the entire experience! The property is gorgeous and was the perfect location for a fairytale wedding. Thank you to Green Gables and Huddleson Court for making our special day perfect!
